Are you sick of seeing my ugly mug all over this site? I am.
We started this site. And, so that it wouldn't look empty, we put our own stuff all over it. But, this website is about the community. Once you join this site, you have the opportunity to take ownership of your own little piece of it. Your pictures, articles and forum posts are way more important than mine are. Why? It's because I'm only a small part of the community myself. So please, take action and take ownership now. It appears that nobody wants to go first on the dance floor. But, as hard as we've worked to make a framework for you to use, it will not work without you.
I know that the site won't work without you. Because, I am looking forward to seeing what you have to say, and seeing your pictures, just as much as the rest of the people who visit this site are. So, start posting like mad. I don't care how many pictures of your bike you post. I want to check it out. I don't care how mundane and normal your ride is going to be. Tell me where you're going. Maybe we can hook up along the way. I want to shake hands and shoot the breeze for a minute. If you want to write a front page article, send it to me with pictures. I will get it posted and make it look good.
If you know of a web link that needs to be posted, let me know about it.
If you have any questions, or would like assistance with anything on the site, please contact me.
But, whatever you do, do something and get my ugly mug off the front page of this site.
It is no secret I am a very new biker. Even though I started learning to ride at the end of the season in 2013, by the time I was comfortable in the saddle the weather had gotten cold and as a new rider the bug had yet to bite me enough to be a year round biker. The summer of 2014 is my first full season riding.
